What is exfoliating?. To get rid of dead stuffs on your skin to keep your skin silky and soft When you Exfoliate, you use scrubs to remove the dead cells on your skin surface. It is beneficial for removing dry or dull skin to brighten and improve your skin appearance When exfoliating your skin, it's important to be gentle on your skin. For sensitive skin; use a soft wash cloth when exfoliating For the Face; To exfoliate your face apply gently to the skin with a finger. Rub in small circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Arms and legs; it's ohk to use a sponge or glove. This can help to get rid of dead skin and stimulate circulation

How Often Do You Exfoliate? It depends on your skin type For Dry Skin; two or three times a month is enough to be effective. Oily skin; may require more frequent exfoliation. Maybe every weekend to get rid of the weeks dirt. ***Avoid Over exfoliating as it can lead to redness and irritation. ***Avoid exfoliating if your skin has cuts, open wounds or sunburns BENEFITS - It helps in removing dead skin -it encourages skin turnover, resulting in brighter skin - It allows for better absorption of moisturizers. Exfoliating the natural way gives you a unique glow and great possiblity to skin like MILK🤗 **Consistently is key in natural skincare. I stated in the last class that though you may not see anything happening for the first or second time, something is actually happening. Just be patient and consistent enough to enjoy the benefits it brings.

Best Time To Exfoliate Though anytime of the day will work, exfoliating in the morning is ideal because the skin repairs itself at night, leaving a layer of dead skin cells by the time you wake up. It is a natural source of glycolic acid, which is an alpha-hydroxy acid used to treat skin aging. ** Very simple, mix half a cup of sugar and half a cup of olive oil together. Use it as a scrub on your skin. Rinse with warm water. OATS; This are perfect for sensitive skin. They are also useful for healing sunburns. **Grind them up, mix them with water or any essential oil and apply the paste to your face. Rinse with warm water *** Mix 1 tablespoon of oatmeal with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Apply on your skin. Rinse with warm water BAKING SODA; This Is a fabulous exfoliant. It is sufficiently abrasive and it's great to make paste with water, honey and coconut oil. *** Mix 1tablespoon of baking soda with few drops of water and if available, vitamin E. Apply on your skin. Rinse with warm water. HONEY; Honey is Great for your skin. It reduces the chances of skin infections and redness. It's also great in fighting acne. *** 1 teaspoon of raw honey and half a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix and apply on your face. Rinse with warm water. ** *Honey And Sugar*; place brown sugar and honey in a small bowl and mix together. Apply on the skin in circular motions. Rinse with warm water. SALT; This tends to be coarser than sugar but it offers great exfoliation. It is a natural antiseptic and it may help kill bacteria even beneath the skin. The circular motion will unclog pored and remove dead skin cells. Rinse with warm water. Salt has minerals to soften skin and restore hydration. Mix a quarter-cup salt and half-cup olive oil or softened coconut oil into a thick paste Thoroughly wet and soften your skin with warm water. Apply the salt scrub with your hands in circular motions. Use gentle We may all wish for perfectly smooth even skin but many of us have uneven skin tones. What's the difference between Skin bleaching and Skin Toning? Toning involves using toners to cleanse the skin and to even out uneven skin tones. It benefits the skin as it also gets rid of dead skin cells and reveal a newer, clearer, Cleaner and fresher skin. It automatically brightens dull skin as well. While skin bleaching is a different ball game altogether cause this involves using chemicals to lighten/whiten the skin. Most of the ingredients for bleaching creams, soaps and lotions comes with poisoning, skin thinning, premature skin aging, and even worse acne reactions. The issue of bleaching has become the order of the day most especially among the female gender. I'll like for us to air our views and opinions about this.. What do you think about the perception making people believe that a fair skin is more accepted in the society?? There's also a wide believe that men are more attracted to white women than black women.. can the guys here clear this for us?? SKIN TONING Skin toning is essentially in place to even out skin tone. It corrects dark spots and discoloration. HOW TO GET EVEN SKIN TONE 1- Stay hydrated; keeping yourself hydrated will do wonders for your skin. Drinking water hydrates your body from inside out. 2- Avoid certain foods and drinks; certain foods can trigger uneven complexion. Some sugary snacks may speed up development of wrinkles and age spots. Foods to avoid for even tone skin; - alcohol, - sugary foods high in refined sugar, - over processed or greasy foods. 3- To maintain an even skin tone, you need to build a skincare routine that focuses on smoothing out the textures of your skin as well as treating the dark spots. 4- Exfoliate Your Skin Once A Month 5- Stop picking your Skin ; please try your hardest to avoid picking at your skin or squeezing your pimples.

It also supplies high quality protein to the skin *****Mix 1tablespoon of of milk, 1teaspoon of honey and 1eggwhite in a bowl, mix well, apply the mixture evenly on your face and leave it to dry for 15mins. Wash your face with warm water to get back the youthful glow ALOE VERA TONER Aloe Vera possess amazing moisturizing properties that can work as good as any skin care cream. It aids to improve firmness and suppleness of the skin. *****Cut the leave of an aloe Vera plant and squeeze out the gel from the leaf. Apply the gel to your face and neck in a consistent way. Wait for 20mins and then wash off with water to get your natural glowing skin *TOMATO TONER When it comes to natural skin care for sensitive skin, there's no other ingredient like ripe, red and juicy tomatoes. It tightens the skin,shrinks the open pores and cures skin irritation, itching and rashes at the same time. Daily application helps get rid of blackheads. ****Cut a fresh into two halves and strain the juice from it by squeezing it hard, add 1teaspoon of cucumber juice to it and mix thoroughly. Dip a Cotten ball in the mixture & wipe your face with it two times daily. APPLE AND HONEY TONER Apple has special perks for aging skin thanks to its high vitaminC content. ***Cut an apple into small pieces and blend them evenly in a blender. Add 1teaspoon of honey to it and mix thoroughly. Apply the toner on the face and neck and wait for 10mins and then rinse completely.
