Most of us don't even take out 20mins from our monthly routine to cleanse our skin, forgetting that it's the first thing people would notice.

HOME MADE CLEANSER HONEY. The sweetest face cleanser and my favorite too. It does excellent face cleansing while keeping the skin moisturized. The beauty of honey is- it is suitable for all the skin types and can be used alone without mixing any other ingredients. How to apply, For Oily Skin; add a few drops of lemon juice into half a teaspoon of honey and mix. Gently apply the mixture on your face. Leave it for 10-15mins then wash with warm water. Honey and lemon mix is a good natural moisturizer and antiseptic. For Dry skin; add milk to honey, mix and apply on your skin. Wash with warm water after 10-15mins To remove make-up, put a small amount of honey on a washcloth and sprinkle baking powder on it, gently use the washcloth to remove the make up, then wash with warm water
MOISTURIZING
Moisturizing your skin should be a part of your morning and nighttime skin care routines – no matter what your skin type may be. It’s essential that you replenish your skin with moisture it may have lost after cleansing. For beautiful skin that glows it must be hydrated and able to retain that moisture throughout your day. There are many benefits to having hydrated skin, but here are three reasons to keep in mind so you don’t occasionally skip this important part of your skin care routine.
Moisturizing benefit #1: It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Regular hydration will better protect your skin against fine line and wrinkle development in general. When your skin is properly moisturized it is stronger, plumper and more radiant looking. moisturizers also contains anti-aging ingredients to help diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Moisturizing benefit #2: It helps balance your skin’s natural oil production. If you have oily skin, you may think it is best to dry your skin out. This is really the worst thing you could do if you want to have balanced, beautiful skin. Instead of drying out the skin, you should aim to balance out your skin’s natural oil production. When you dry out the skin, you trick your skin’s oil producing glands into thinking they need to produce more oil. So, your skin may temporally be dry – which can be quite unpleasant if it is peeling or feeling tight – but will soon return to a slick, shiny surface. Instead of drying out your skin, get balanced, beautiful skin by replenishing your skin with moisturizer after cleansing.
Moisturizing benefit #3: It helps your makeup apply better. When your skin is hydrated, it is smooth and supple. A flaky, patchy and dry surface will make for a creasy canvas when applying concealer, foundation and powders – and make fine lines, wrinkles and blemishes more noticeable. Moisturized skin will improve your makeup application giving it a smooth, seamless surface as its base.
Try to remember to always moisturize after cleansing. It is an important skin care step if you want to truly have beautiful skin day after day, year after year..
